This subproject contain a number of activities which will empower young people with skills and competences enabling them to start up their own business and hopefully lead to self-employment and employment of others. Of course this work will continue on the results from the FLOT-project. This means that development work of training sessions and training of additional trainers will take place. A number of training sessions with young people will be carried out with focus on topics with relevance for entrepreneurs: innovation, business plans, product development, accounting, human resource management, sales training, marketing activities, legal issues, cooperation with authorities etc.
The trained participants will work on a business plan for their specific business case. In this work they will be supported by a number of voluntary coaches, who are also trained to do so. A support structure is established in which the new participants and the 600 participants from FLoT can access support which will lead them closer to a success with their running og new established business. This is further supported by networking activities and a facilitated dialog with potential financial investors and external advisors who can qualify the participant’s business plans. An aspect of this dialog is connected to advocacy work towards decision makers in society who should end up recognizing young people’s abilities to run a business.
